In fact once others find out about your new talent, they will seek you out to complete pieces for them. Your well-earned reputation opens the door for a full or part time business by participating in craft, jewelry, or lapidary shows. Others place their pieces in galleries and jewelry stores.

As mentioned earlier, many of my previous students generate substantial income from these activities. Others teach the craft in local rock and mineral clubs or other craft related societies.

Twenty-five years ago wire jewelry was almost unknown and what was made was often poorly made and not attractive. Today many who have entered the craft are creative artisans who are constantly evolving new designs and methods that have made wire art jewelry a true art form.
